The Evolution of Filla Willson

Filla Willson is a project aimed at developing my skills in character design. The idea for the character Filla emerged in 2016 as part of a school assignment when I was 12 years old. Shortly thereafter, the first sketches were created, and since then, she has been an evolving process. The goal is to make her a believable character with original and iconic design.

Filla took shape from the idea of creating a character based on a real person to achieve a relatable and vivid fictional character. My other interests such as psychology and world-building also came to use here.

When art block is visiting I always draw another Filla. She has stuck with me for a while now - what can I say?
